It allows me to use intelligence for hitting and damage.New Warlock pacts are largely bad, Soundburst is nice but falls off once half the game is immune (inherently so) to stun. Fiend is a lethal instant killer but is awful to level as a non tiefling as half the things in the later parts of the game are resistant/immune to fire damage.Acid is a possibility too for pk to stack illusion dcs and make use of weird. Epic destiny wise: If going for weird, do 35 in shadowdancer for weird and +3 tier 5 dcs, 13 in primal avatar for reborn in fire and stats, and rest in magus for +3 pk/weird dc. Thats half the power budget of that class (hyperbole but its still frigging good) The AC tank build is again, more a flavor build (although a very good one for that).If you drop the 30% tainted scholar crit damage capstone, with endgame crit damage and crit chance you're likely dropping at least about 10% of your DPS, which should be more than that 252. Same thing if you drop Vulnerability from Souleater, if you're the only vulnerability applier dropping a 20% DPS buff isn't great. Give Acolyte a little more EB damage then a base Warlock by giving it back the 2 pact dice that it lost and let it keep the extra 2 base dice so it would be 8d8 + 10d6 as compared to regular Warlocks 6d8 + 10d6 at lvl 20 and Acolytes ... Sonic strength: Best damage type that hurts almost everything, Disco ball, Misty Escape (like Abundant Step), no alignment restriction. Beguiling Influence gives you training in Deception & Persuasion, for even more skills! Pact: Blade, Tome, or Chains. I'd personally say for a Rogue Blade or Chains are my favorite.
